Bias to action

× Operations
Too much of life conditions us to think before we do something. Our parents tell us to consider the consequences, if we are naughty they will scold Our teachers tell us to think through the question on the worksheet, to read the question before starting. Real life has no definite answers, we only learn after we try. Especially, in operations. There is no right protocol, or right ways to do things. There is only what works We should bias towards change and action, be it is only through change and action that we find the optimal. Not thinking, meeting and discussions. I've seen so many ideas go through so many stages of approval only to die in reality, and just be persisted through because so much time in the planning phase was spent. It is less costly to try things, then it is to have multiple round meetings.
